Amirov Dance Theater holding OPEN AUDITION

Amirov Dance Theater is holding an open audition for both female and male dancers. Artistic Director Alexandra Amirov is seeking highly trained dancers in modern, contemporary, ballet, and improvisation for the development of a new work to premiere in Spring 2018.

Amirov Dance Theater prioritizes a highly collaborative method for movement creation and candidates should be comfortable with generating movement phrases/material. Dancers should have professional experience and be available to rehearse twice a week.

When: Tuesday, November 7th, 2017, 4:30-8:00 pm

Where: Gibney Dance: Agnes Varis Performing Arts Center, Studio C, 280 Broadway (entrance at 53A Chambers), New York, NY 10007

How to Apply: Pre-registration for the audition is required. To be considered, submit the following materials to [email protected]

– One-page resumé
– One headshot
– 1 or 2 full-body dance photographs
Please title the subject line “Audition: .” You will receive an email confirming receipt of your pre-registration materials.
Be sure to bring hard copies of your resume and headshot to the audition.
