Ascendence Dance Chicago is seeking male and female dancers for their 2016-2017 Season!
Ascendence Dance Chicago is a contemporary based dance company, spearheaded by Choreographer Heather Carpenter. Dedicated to the design, creation and passion for performance pieces that resonate with anyone in need of healing or inspiration. Ascendence Dance Chicago distinguishes itself by its unique concepts and ability to give back to the Chicago community, and rally them to “Ascend”.
Ascendence introductory season’s repertoire will include works by its Artistic staff as well as guest Choreographers.
Dancers must be at least 18 years old with strong ballet and contemporary technique. Dancers should be prepared for a ballet class, followed by company repertoire.
Pre-Registration is encouraged!
Auditions are SATURDAY, JUNE 4th
at Athenaeum Theatre
2936 N Southport, 3rd Floor
Chicago, IL
Registration begins at 1:30 PM; Auditions will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. Please bring headshot and resume.
Rehearsals will take place twice a week. Company Dancers will be compensated on rehearsal and performance basis.
