Deborah Mason School of Dance (DMSD) is a prominent institution in the community and is highly regarded on both the east and west coast. DMSD is committed to excellence in teaching, learning, and developing dancers in many disciplines.
The School-year training is enhanced by the Summer Programs with options available to students ages 5-24.

FLOWER FAIRY BALLET CAMP (AGES 5-6)
June 26-30, 2017 (1 week only) // 9am – 12pm Cost: $250

Flower Fairy Ballet Camp is a whimsical week of dance and crafts for ages 5-6. Dancers start the morning with a ballet class, as well as skill development and self-expression through improvisation. Dancers make magical fairy crowns, paint flowerpots, fairy houses, and enjoy stories, songs, and poems about fairy folklore, flowers, and of course, famous fairies!
Faculty: Jacquelyn Berkowitz with dance company assistants.

YOUNG PERFORMING ARTISTS (AGES 8-11) (Beginner/Intermediate Dancers)
July 10-21, 2017 (2 weeks available) // 9:30am – 3pm
1 week – $360 or 2 weeks – $700

The Young Performing Artists program for ages 8-11 is designed for young dancers who are technically experienced in dance (minimum of 3 years dance experience required) and interested in exploring and building on various dance forms. Students start the day with ballet and incorporate musical theater, hip hop, contemporary/lyrical, and drama.

YOUTH INTENSIVE (AGES 11-15) (Intermediate Dancers)
July 17-28, 2017 (2 weeks available) // 9am – 4pm 1 week – $425 or 2 weeks – $825

The Youth Intensive is a 2-week training program designed for Intermediate dancers interested
in challenging and strengthening their technique and exploring various genres of dance in a
pre-professional environment. Ballet, contemporary, jazz, and Horton modern serve as the basis of the intensive, led by an inspiring and accomplished faculty. Students are encouraged to build on the foundation of their artistry, to find and embrace their voice in dance, and to move with ease and confidence throughout their journey.

MASTER SERIES (AGES 13-24) (Advanced Dancers-Dancers must have extensive dance experience.)
June 26-July 28, 2017 (5 weeks available) // 9am – 4pm
1 week – $500 or 2 weeks – $975 or 3 weeks – $1425 or 4 weeks – $1850 or 5 weeks – $2250
*Minimum 2 weeks of training is strongly recommended.

The Master Series* is a 5-week Conservatory-style intensive program designed to strengthen and refine artists in a diverse community of Master teachers and accomplished choreographers working in the industry today. Ballet, en pointe, contemporary, jazz, Horton modern, and yoga/pilates serve as the basis of our program. Students are immersed in both the artistic and technical practices required by today’s leading universities and dance companies. BEANTOWN TAPFEST YOUTH INTENSIVE (AGES 10-20)
Three Levels: Slow Intermediate, Fast Intermediate, and Advanced (Advanced level by audition)
July 31st – August 3rd, 2017 // 9:30am – 4:30pm
$450 Slow Intermediate & Fast Intermediate or $525 Advanced

A week-long immersion in tap technique and repertory! This four day comprehensive training program is designed to educate the serious tap student in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Students will learn to interpret and incorporate rhythm, all for the purpose of enhancing future tap classes they take, choreography they perform, and improv they create.
