GöteborgsOperans Danskompani is Looking for Male and Female Dancers

Dance auditions for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani 2017/2018

The dance company is based at The Göteborg Opera in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is an international contemporary dance company of the highest rank, and has 38 dancers from all over the world. The company creates new works together with some of the most interesting artists of our time, and tours worldwide.

Choreographers in the repertory include Sharon Eyal, Stijn Celis, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Marcos Morau, Ohad Naharin, Saburo Teshigawara, Ina Christel Johannessen, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Marina Mascarell, Constanza Macras, and Alan Lucien Øyen.

GöteborgsOperans Danskompani is looking for:

Dancers with high level of dance, theatre and performance skills, and with at least 3 years of post-educational, professional dance experience. We are seeking creative dancers with strong artistic identity, who are able to contribute in the creative processes required for the company’s dynamic, diverse and ambitious repertory.

Come Dance With Us | 2017 Summer Intensive with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company

The company is offering contracts for both men and women for 6–12 months. The contracts will start in July 2017.

Where? The auditions will be held at GöteborgsOperan on 21–22 January 2017.
Audition is by invitation only.
