Oedipa Seeks 4 Dancers for R+D of a New Project Combining Architecture, Theatre and Choreography

4 dancers required for R+D on a new project combining architecture, theatre and choreography, funded through Arts Council England and the Jerwood Choreographic Research Project.

Rate of pay: £458.00/week for 2 weeks (Equity minimum, all-inclusive)

MÆSS is a participatory project exploring interlinking choreographies of bodies, space and matter.
Over the course of 2 weeks, the company will manipulate 1,800 bespoke clay blocks, each weighing around 6.5kg, to mutate and morph a space with light and sound. It’s heavy work, but will be good fun and an opportunity to work on an unusual project at an early stage.

Part of the R+D will be the creative team and company working privately, exploring ideas and developing material. There will also be multiple test performances with small audiences.
