Rambert are Looking for a Male Dancer to Join the cast for the Recreation of Lloyd Newson’s Enter Achillies
Rambert is looking for an exceptional performer to join the cast for the recreation of Lloyd Newson (DV8)’s Enter Achilles. Rehearsing through to February 2020 and touring until summer 2021, the production is co-produced by Rambert, Sadler’s Wells and 10 international partners. You’ll be joining a hand-picked ensemble recreating this seminal work for a major international tour.
We are looking for applicants who can play a male character, ‘blokey’ and vulnerable at the same time, with a playing age of late 20’s upwards. You should have outstanding contact improvisation and acting skills. An understanding of the connection between meaning and movement is key, as well as the ability to deliver text convincingly. You need to be able to speak and understand English and it is an advantage if you can do a British accent.
