Young maker Sara Europaeus is looking for enthusiastic professional dancers (m/f/x) based in Amsterdam to participate in The Broken Phone Project.

The Broken Phone Project is a dance film project created reflecting the time of self-isolation due to COVID-19. It investigates the changes it has created, in and through our movement and choice of expression, connecting a large, international, group of people together in this exploration.

The dancers are invited to use their personal movement language and are encouraged to investigate their experience over the past months and incorporate how their personal movement preferences and mannerisms have been affected by the special circumstances due to COVID-19. How do you truly want to move and express yourself today? What has changed, and where are you now.

The Broken Phone Project also aims to create a network of international dance artists, thus creating a community that promotes artistic exchange. Amsterdam-based, professional dancers and performance artists of all ages, nationalities, and training backgrounds are welcome to apply. The position is paid.

We are looking for:
