Teatrul De Balet Sibiu is Looking for Female and Male Dancers

Teatrul de Balet Sibiu (Romania) under the direction of Mr Ovidiu Dragoman, is seeking classically trained Male and Female dancers, aged between 18+ years old for the new season commencing 1st September 2022 – 31st July 2023

Teatrul De Balet Sibiu offers for its dancers:

-Accommodation
-Reimbursement of flights for every beginning and end of the season to come to Romania and back to their home country.
-Romanian Health Insurance
-full salary according to the contract that the dancer will get.

Requirements:

Candidates must be holding a valid EU passport, non EU passport holders are also welcome to apply, only if they can be present at the audition in person.

Height requirements:
Women- minimum 1,58/ maximum 1,65
Men- minimum 1,75

How to Apply:

All applicants must submit the following material to [email protected] with the subject “AUDITION 16th July”, to be considered.

-A video link (YouTube or Vimeo) with no fancy editing and with appropriate dance wear attire.
Please submit ballet class work and a classical variation of your choice.

-A short contemporary variation (that could consist of something drawn from repertoire, phrases from classwork or an applicant-created work) that illustrates the applicant’s command of a range of movement.

-A CV in (PDF) form that includes your email address, postal address, height in cm, date of birth, citizenship, training and performance experience.
– A head shot
– 2-3 dance photos (pdf) that reveal the dancer’s body proportions and line.
-Video work should not be filmed too far away. Performance video is acceptable if of good quality and filmed close-up.

Your application will not be processed unless all the required documents, photos and video links are attached and submitted.
