Aterballetto is Looking for 3 Male Dancers for the 2021-22 Season

Fondazione Nazionale della Danza, the most important Italian Dance Production Centre, develops its producing and touring activity under the name Aterballetto, the leading contemporary dance company in Italy and the first permanent ballet-producing organization apart from Opera House companies.
Founded in 1977, Aterballetto is composed of 16 soloist dancers capable of performing in every dance style. Aterballetto has gained wide recognition in Italy and on the international scene.
Many acclaimed Italian and international choreographers have worked with the company, including Mauro Bigonzetti, Michele Di Stefano, Andonis Foniadakis, William Forsythe, Johan Inger, Jiří Kylián, Cristiana Morganti, Ohad Naharin, Jiří Pokorny, Rihoko Sato, Hofesh Shechter, Giuseppe Spota and Diego Tortelli.

We are looking for 3 male dancers for the 2021-2022 season with these requirements:

– high ballet skill
– experience in contemporary dance
– over 18 years

The audition is by invitation only.

The date of the audition will be agreed with the company director Sveva Berti and it will take place at the Fonderia, headquarters of the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto, via della Costituzione 39 – Reggio Emilia.
