Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballett is seeking highly-skilled dance artists

Staatstheater Nürnberg is one of Germany’s large multi-branch theaters with over 600 employees and around 650 events per season in the areas of opera, ballet, drama and concerts in Nuremberg, as well as national and international guest performances.

In 2008, ballet director and main choreographer Goyo Montero founded the company of the Nuremberg Ballet. Since then, the company established its reputation far beyond German bounds and ranks among the international ballet scene’s First League.
Alongside Goyo Montero‘s choreographic work, our repertoire includes choreographers like Jirí Kylián, Mats Ek, Johan Inger, Nacho Duato, Mauro Bigonzetti, Crystal Pite, Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe, Christian Spuck, Alexander Ekman, Hofesh Shechter, Marco Goecke and many more who have entrusted and created choreographies for the company.

REQUIREMENTS
For the season 2022/2023 Goyo Montero, Director of the Nuremberg Ballet, is looking for male and female soloists. An excellent level in classical and contemporary technique and experience of min 2 years in professional dance is required.

AUDITION
Private Audition will be held at Ballet Nuremberg by invitation only.
