Springs Dance Company is Looking for Dancers

We are currently looking for a dancer for Summer and Autumn 2022 for a rehearsal period and national tour, but please apply if you are interested in working with the company beyond this period as there are other projects on the horizon.

A TIME TO MOURN, A TIME TO DANCE is a double-bill choreographed by Lizzi Kew Ross and Heather Richmond that laments and commemorates loss and celebrates life.

Springs Dance Company creates dance with heart and soul for theatre, church and community settings.

Requirements:

We are looking for performers who are:

– Outstanding dancers who are confident both learning material and working creatively and collaboratively with choreographers
– Connected – dancers who are open and authentic
– Comfortable, respectful and positive whilst working in church and faith settings
– Willing to be involved in the behind-the-scenes aspects of the tour such as laying the floor etc.
– Comfortable engaging with the public

Performers must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to act as an employment sponsor.

We’d also love to find people (although not essential) that:
– Enjoy working with children
– Would be willing to drive and hold a UK license

Springs delivers an extensive education programme and the company is also looking for dancers that may be interested in teaching. Please include teaching experience in your application if relevant.
