👉 Workshop Eastman/Sidi Larbi Rep with Pau Aran
If you’ve always wanted to learn the official rep of Sidi Larbi, this is your chance!
This creative repertory workshop is led by original cast member Pau Aran Gimeno (Eastman, Tanztheater Wuppertal – Pina Bausch), who will propose a variety of choreographic and theatrical concepts of the piece to work with during the week. As a close artistic partner to Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Pau will work in parallel with his creation methods, as well as making use of his own expertise as a choreographer and educator. To Pau, the ‘workshop’ is a place of experimentation and craft creation, a place of learning, practicing, improving technique / crafts(wo)manship and finding a creative identity.
👉 Workshop Forsythe Improvisation Tools with Tamas Moricz
Learn the essential Improvisation Tools from the legendary William Forsythe
The workshop is a collection of ideas that help dancers to bridge the connection between all dance styles. The aim is defining personal movement qualities and artistic grace. Learning to respect the sense of movement without interpreting it, while allowing for greater accuracy and rigour. We’ll work towards achievement and Technique that relies on correct placement, the use of the body’s own weight and velocity , allowing for greater speed and dynamics in dancing. This will be possibly the most fun and eye opening workshop that you’ll ever do… and that’s a promise.
