Residency Dance Research & Development Amsterdam 2024 | Sur Mundo Ensemble

Facilitated by dramaturge- choreographer- teacher Gabriela Zuarez, this is an education and training residency. It involves intensive practice focused on constructing dance language, choreographic research and dramaturgy. This residency explores the hybridization of movement and dance, with a special emphasis on music, literature, and visual narratives. Drawing inspiration from the rich universe of tango, participants will tackle the movement language that defines this unique art form.
