About Jiří Pokorný
Born in Prague, 25.07.1981 Jiří Pokorný is a Czech choreographer based in The Hague, Netherlands. He graduated from the Prague National Dance Conservatory in 2000 and went on dancing with Laterna Magika in Prague. Three years later he joined Nederlands Dans Theater 2 in The Hague and continued his carrier with NDT1. After seven years in NDT, Jiri joined Vancouver-based company KiddPivot under the leadership of Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite. Jiri has worked with many renowned choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Paul Lightfoot, Sol Leon, and Crystal Pite among others. About this Course
This workshop is exclusively for SHARE The Dance Intensive. Each day will begin with a warm-up led by Jiří Pokorný on the improvisation tools used at Kidd Pivot lasting 1h to 1h30 min to then continue with a 4 hours repertoire workshop on the work of Crystal Pite.

Application Requirements
Dancers submitting their application need to have a strong dance technique and physicality and/or any other background that supports their participation in this workshop. All Applicants must be professional or pre-professional dancers, movers, or performers, with a minimum age of 16 years old.
You must provide a maximum of 1-minute video link (Vimeo or Youtube) of your dancing either improvising or choreographed solo. No group piece. No Instagram or Facebook link.

Acceptance
Accepted dancers will be informed within 3 days by email with all the further steps to take to join us.
