Spring Intensive – Thierry Verger – Partnering, Floorwork, Techniques

We feel very happy and honored to welcome Thierry Verger to the south of Portugal. A great dancer with 40 years of experience, coming from Paris. During this intensive week of contemporary dance, we will dive into floorwork, partnering, and technical classes.

In support of Thierry’s classes, you will have access to multiple activities that create space for group connections, well-being, and dance culture: yoga sessions, shared meals with discussions, body-awareness activities, free training, and an open CI jam session.

Thierry Verger has created his own technique, Modal Underground, inspired by his background in classical, contemporary, and jazz dance, martial arts, and equestrian arts. His technique is a harmonious blend of classical lines, baroque curves, floor work, and dynamic jumps.

In Thierry’s classes, you will develop both technical skills and personal expression. They are a journey through different worlds, both musically and through movement. His vision is cinematic and timeless.

Surrounded by the beauty of the south of Portugal, this workshop takes place in a region known for its stunning beaches and mild, sunny climate. Between sessions, the serene coastline and crystal-clear waters offer a perfect space to connect with nature and unwind.
