Join the Dance Department from September 2025 to teach students on pre bachelor and bachelor level.
About your work
The position entails:
•teach students on pre bachelor and bachelor level;
•participating in formal student assessment procedures;
•engaging in continuous professional development and contribute to the teampositively to the ongoing review of the curriculum and innovation process ofthe Dance Department.
Your profile
We are looking for:
•an inspiring, energetic and communicative personality who can generouslyshare knowledge and experience. Who has a strong work ethic, with desire toshare knowledge and make a difference in the lives of motivated, youngdancers of the future.
•applicants who have a strong dance background – classical and neo classicalballet – and performance and teaching experience. You have to be able tocontribute at several courses of the curriculum: classical ballet, pas de deux,pointes technique/male technique, classical variations and repertoire;
•a teacher who is able to teach the specific techniques connected to severalstyles with great artistic and pedagogical ability;
•has a proven track record of successful teaching, preferably in Danceeducation;
•is a team player who can work closely with colleagues;
•can coach, inspire and motivate students, and has excellent communicationskills;
•has demonstrable affinity with the mission and vision of the RoyalConservatoire;
•has a vision on the role of the artist in the 21st-century;
•shows interest in the relation between performance and research, andpreferably has experience and affinity with artistic research;
•is open to curricular innovation;
•is willing to complete the conservatoire’s “Artist as Teacher” training, thusobtaining a BKE-certificate;
•is proficient in English and able to operate in an international environment.
