Michael Mao Dance is Looking for 2 Women and 2 Men Dancers

Michael Mao Dance is looking for 2 Women and 2 Men to join its corps of physically powerful dancers. We are seeking sensational dancers with a command of Modern and Ballet to perform in our NY Spring Season at The Hudson Guild Theatre on June 6th – June 11th 2017.

When: Wednesday. April 12th, 2017: 10 AM – 2 PM.

Where: Creative Cultural Center; 149 Christopher Street, NY

Pre-Audition Workshop:
Friday, April 7th, 2017. 10:30 AM – 1 PM.

This workshop with be taught by MMD Rehearsal Director, Stacy Yoshioka and The Artistic Director of The Moving Beauty Series, Juan Michael Porter II. It will cover MMD’s repertoire and break down his musically athletic style.
(Workshop participation is not required to Audition).

Talented professional dancers of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition.
As a multi-cultural dance company, Michael Mao Dance takes pleasure in working with dancers who represent the beautiful diversity of America.

Please note that it is imperative that you be a big jumper, have great facility, and be an incredibly musical dancer in order to work with Michael Mao.

Michael Mao Dance Spring 2017 Schedule:
Monday. April 17th – May 19th, 2017
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 AM – 2 PM.

May 22nd – June 2nd, 2017
Monday – Friday: 10 AM – 2 PM.

Monday. June 5th: 2 PM – 10:30 PM.
June 6th – June 11th: Performances. Call Time 6:00 PM.

Any additional rehearsals leading up to the concert will be set as a collective company.
