Full Radius Dance, now in its 27th season, is one of Atlanta’s longest-tenured modern dance companies. The company is physically integrated, using both disabled and nondisabled dancers, and features athleticism and partnering in our signature style. The company’s process is highly collaborative and requires good communication skills.

This opportunity is for part-time contract positions beginning in August. Company members are paid for rehearsal, performance, teaching, and touring. Rehearsals are MWF 10-1 and applicants must be available at those times; for scheduled performances and commitments; and optionally for scheduled touring and teaching.

1-2 openings in the professional company and 1-2 apprentice positions are available. Dancers of any gender are welcome. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to:

Work in a collaborative environment
Follow directions and apply corrections
Show respect for the rehearsal process, fellow dancers, and the artistic director
Demonstrate good body awareness
Dancers who possess an adventurous spirit are particularly suited for the work of Full Radius Dance.

Dancers without physical disabilities should have a professional level of modern dance technique. Full Radius Dance recognizes that dance training opportunities for persons with physical disabilities are extremely limited. Therefore, for dancers with disabilities, no previous dance training is required for consideration. By request, you may audition simultaneously for the professional company and for apprenticeship.
