Akram Khan is Seeking Professional Dancers for his Next Large-Scale Production ‘Jungle Book Reimagined’

Akram Khan is seeking professional dancers with specific qualities to cast his next large-scale production Jungle Book Reimagined: male & female contemporary dancers between 20 and 40 years-old, with a variety of body types, and a strong classical ballet base.

Due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions and the new Brexit regulations, we are specifically looking for dancers that are based in the UK, whether they are Europeans or non-EU / British nationals.

The selected dancers from the audition will be expected to start rehearsals from August 2021 and must be available to tour with the Company from April 2022 and beyond.

Audition is by invitation only and will take place in London.

Please be aware that due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be auditioning in small groups at the start of the week, and we will be shortlisting dancers at the end of each day:

– if you are part of the shortlist, you will be invited back later in the week
– if you are not shortlisted, you will not be attending the rest of the audition week

Dates: Monday 24 – Saturday 29 May 2021, 10.00-18.30
