Audition for a Dancer/Physical Performer to Work WithSarah Fairhall & Lois Taylor to Create ‘Physical Postcards’ Touring Work.
We are looking for a strong and engaging dancer/physical performer to work alongside Sarah Fairhall and Lois Taylor to create Physical Postcards touring work.
Physical Postcards on tour, is an Arts Council of England funded performance project for
rural venues. It explores the sending and receiving of danced messages from the body.
This performance brings the audience into our process of making Physical Postcards through performance of informal conversations, choreographed work and in the moment
improvised responses to the audiences writing.
We are looking for a strong performer and collaborative individual to co create the work, who is interested in investing in it for current and future performance opportunities. You will need to enjoy and be confident in exploring and expressing your ideas, in movement and text and be playful and inventive. Really positive skills are: Improvisation, contact, voice work, creative writing, dance/movement technical or/an originality.
2 weeks devising, 4 performances – future performances 2019. Where: Devising in East Cornwall Liskeard. Confirmed performances in Cornwall and Devon
Devising – One day in your own time pre-September and together September
3rd – 14th . Performance – September 15th , 21st , October 6th and one more tbc between
September 15 th and October 6th
Fee: £1500
Travel: £100
Accommodation: To be discussed on an individual basis, support given to find very cheap accommodation.

For applicants who would be strong for the project, we will arrange a face to face meet up or Skype interview/audition end of June early July.
