Online auditions / FOCAR – Intensive Course in Choreography for Architecture

FOCAR is a program dedicated to choreographic creation for informal, public, private, and collective spaces, promoted by Instável – Centro Coreográfico.
Intensive and interdisciplinary, it stands out for:

– Bridging contemporary dance, performance, and architecture
– Encouraging the critical and artistic appropriation of space
– Combining theoretical and practical training, with contributions from artists, architects, and programmers
– Supporting the development of original projects, providing tools for the creation of an individual choreographic language
– Offering direct contact with the methodologies and processes of choreographers and creators with diverse approaches to composition

The course provides tools to interpret, appropriate, and reinvent space through the body — addressing these themes from both a performance and architectural perspective.
