Ballet Nacional Sodre (The BNS) is Holding International Auditions for M/F Soloists and Corps De Ballet Dancers

The BNS | BALLET NACIONAL SODRE, under the artistic direction of JULIO BOCCA and SOFÍA SAJAC, is pleased to inform about the upcoming INTERNATIONAL AUDITIONS for female and male dancers, for contracts for the period from January 29th to December 31st, 2018.

The call is addressed to soloists and corps de ballet dancers with both classical and contemporary background.

Basic requirements:
– classical ballet education
– Female dancers minimum height: 163 cm
– Male dancers minimum height: 175 cm
– Very good physical conditions according to the ballet standards
-Female candidates age limit:between 18 and 28 years old
– Male candidates age limit: between 18 and 29 years old
-Send a video of a classical variation and another of a contemporary variation for the pre-selection.

When: Friday October 6th, 2017. It will consist of a complete ballet class (bar and center), a contemporary class and a classical variation. Each dancer must prepare his/her Classical Variation before the audition and bring the corresponding music.
