BalletCollective is Looking for Dancers

BalletCollective is casting 6 dynamic contemporary dancers with strong technique for their 2026 seasons, including a month-long revival of their “breathtaking” work, Translation. Featuring silhouetted dancers immersed in a landscape of shimmering light, Translation has not been seen in NYC since its 2017 world premiere run. Choreographed by Troy Schumacher and created in collaboration with Nebula and Hugo Award–winning speculative fiction writer Ken Liu, composer Julianna Barwick, and installation artist Sergio Mora-Diaz, Translation is “magical” (Dance Tabs). Casted dancers will also be part of the creation and performances of world premiere ballets by Shane Urton, Noelle Kayser, and Troy Schumacher, to premiere in NYC in November 2026.
