Bobbi Lo Produktion is Looking for Dancers with a Strong Presence and Excellent Improvisation Skills

Bobbi Lo Produktion is a dance company that focuses on creating dance performances mainly for children, youth and young adults. Their work is based on a concept where the starting point revolves around the audience and target group. Bobbi Lo Produktion’s work is characterized by a clear physical expression and always explores movement. The company choreographers, Lava Markusson and Michael Tang, work from a dancer’s perspective and often perform in their own works. Their pieces display themes with relevant human interactions, intertwined with the belief that the artistic practice must reflect the current social climate. They have a solid experience in creating interactive performances and have a strong belief in this kind of work.

Bobbi Lo Produktion is based in Malmö and has made works in numerous places within the nordic countries. The company was founded in 2018 and has collaborated with several independent artist over the years.

We are looking for dancers with a strong presence and excellent improvisation skills. You need to be interested in exploring the body’s physical movement and the relationship between performer and audience in interactive work. As a dancer with the company you will need to work collaborative with choreographers and fellow dancers. We value a strong sense of humor, you have to be open, present and adaptable.

For this specific audition we are looking for Copenhagen/Malmö based dancers for current and future projects. We also seek potential alternates for the interactive work DO AS I SAY, that have been touring extensively during the fall 2021.
