BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance is looking for experienced, creative, and adventurous professional dancers for paid company positions.
We are a part-time, non-profit contemporary dance company looking for dancers for specific projects.
Performance Pay, Hourly Rehearsal Pay, Teaching Opportunities
We are seeking male and female dancers with backgrounds in partnering, improvisation, contemporary, ballet, modern, and release technique. Theater and experimental movement background is an asset.
We are looking for someone who can quickly and independently learn existing material, and then be able to navigate and fully engage in our rigorous rehearsal process combining technical and experimental research. We are looking for someone who can jump fully into our creative process with a pro-active, positive community spirit.
The Audition will be in New York and it’s by invitation only.

BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance is a contemporary dance company that strives to capture and communicate universal human encounters through dynamic, purposeful movement. We create intricately crafted, detailed works that incorporate highly athletic, technical physicality; intense partnering; honest theatricality, and intellectual curiosity. Teresa Fellion has been internationally recognized for her choreography, which has been presented at Baryshnikov Arts Center, Jacob’s Pillow, The Public Theater, University of Florida, ENTPE University (Lyon, France), NYU, Gibney Dance Center, Danspace Project, 26 Federal Plaza by NYC DOT, Hudson River Museum, 92nd St. Y, chashama, Naropa University, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Ailey Citigroup Theater, Bryant Park SummerStage, Booking Dance Festival (Edinburgh, Scotland), Dixon Place, BAAD!, The Dance Complex, University of Maine, ICA Boston, and on stages with the rock band Phish, among others.
