UPDATED: Burkicom Company is Looking for Male/Female Contemporary Dancers
Burkicom company is seeking experienced dancers with strong contemporary technique and stage presence for paid contracts to begin in September 2022. Burkicom is a company founded in Prague by choreographer and director Jana Burkiewiczova in 2015. Jana’s work is characterized by bold social issues of author plays, original humour, expressive stage design and natural and physically demanding fusion of contemporary dance and elements of new circus and acrobatics.
Her most recent production The ISLAND! was named the „event of the season“ by the critics of the Czech theatre scene and it made it to the top five most successful productions of last year according to the Theater Critics Awards. Jana has a keen interest in creating projects that fuse theatre with fine art, fashion and design – whether through her original work or collaborations with other companies.
Burkicom offers freelance contracts, paid rehearsals and performances.
UPDATE: DEKKADANCERS – another renowned Czech dance company will be present at our audition to search for talents. This is an exclusive opportunity to audition for 2 companies at the same time.
