Carolyn Dorfman Dance is Looking for Dancers for 2023-2024 Season
Carolyn Dorfman Dance invites you to in person auditions on May 15-16, 2023; with call backs May 16-18, 2023. The Company’s 2023-2024 Touring Season includes repertory reconstruction, performance, touring, and teaching/community residencies. This opportunity includes:
• Full-time company positions beginning early September 2023
• Non-union, Minimum 28 week contract
• Rehearsals in NYC and NJ
• Legal work status verification
• Starting salary $20/hour, plus teaching and performance bonuses

Requirements:
The Company is seeking dedicated, passionate, and committed dancers with strong contemporary modern dance and ballet technique, bold athleticism, a broad theatrical range, strong ensemble and partnering skills, and with a strong desire for artistic growth. At least 3 years of professional performance experience is preferred.
Dancers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including the bivalent booster.
