Audition for a dance project at the exhibition LINES
The choreographer Canan Erek is looking for three dancers for her next project at the exhibition LINES , commissioned by the Swedish Embassy.
The exhibition LINES , which will be shown in the Felleshus of the Nordic Embassies in Berlin from 7 – 15 April 2018, is an interactive music installation. On walls, on the floor and on the ceiling, lines or tubes with sensors are installed, which generate sounds when one moves in front of them. The body becomes, so to speak, a spatial musical instrument. A performance will be presented during the exhibition LINES on two Saturdays (17.02.2017 and 24.02.2017) in the installation.
In addition, workshops with children and adolescents will take place from 19.2.-24.03.2017 on two mornings a week. The dancers have the task, the workshop participants in a playful way to the LINES Installation.
Canan Erek will develop concepts for these fields and will seek professional, experienced dancers for the implementation of these ideas. Improvisation experience, especially in relation to sound / music, is required.
Swedish dancers * are expressly welcome.
