Choreographer Mina Aidoo is Looking for 2 Black Male Contemporary Dancers for a Film Trailer
“We Raise Our Hands In The Sanctuary combines drama, dance and nightclubbing to tell the story of two gay teenagers who free themselves from the racism, homophobia and hardship of early 1980s London to create an underground club night that is the secular sanctuary of the title – only to have their achievement threatened by ambition, addiction and AIDS.”
Looking for two black male contemporary dancers for a film trailer for ‘We Raise Our Hands In The Sanctuary’. Dancers who are trained in contemporary dance and have skill in contact improvisation, lifting/taking weight and devising movement. Experience in physical theater/acting/theater desirable. Film shoot will be outdoors on location.
Dates: 30th and 31st August, South London.
Rate is for one rehearsal day and one film shoot day including photography for the play promotional poster.
