Collaborating artists, Megan Smith & Danni Chell, are seeking one male dancer to join the company for the creation and preview of their upcoming project. Applicants should demonstrate: a very strong contemporary dance technique, strong contact and partner work, some acrobatic skills, a willingness to contribute to the creative process, the ability to collaborate and work well in a team and a good sense of humor. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
The creation, all rehearsals and preview of the project will take place in the East Midlands at Derbyshire’s dance house, Dedá.
R&D/Rehearsal Dates:
9-11, 16-18 April 2018
7-8, 18-20, 25, 27-29 June 2018
Some of the above dates are under half day time scales. Therefore, additional rehearsal days may be added, only if required.
Performance Date: Saturday 30th June 2018
Rehearsal Fee: £100 per day x 15 days total (£1500) Performance Fee:£170
Accommodation is not provided, although, a digs list can be made available.
When: Audition will take place on Tuesday 13th March 2018 and is by invitation ONLY.
Where: Derbyshire’s dance house, Dedá, East Midlands, UK
