Company BalletMet is Holding an Audition Tour to Find New Dancers for the 2019/20 Season

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for BalletMet.

How To Apply: There are two ways to audition for BalletMet and BalletMet2:

  1. Attend an open audition (listed below).
  2. Submit the following materials to be considered for a company class audition:
  • Resume
  • Headshot
  • Dance shot (preferably in arabesque)
  • Video of classical work
  • Video of contemporary work
  • Video of class work

Please note that we only invite a select number of dancers to audition in company class. You must pay the $30 registration fee (waived for AGMA members) in order to submit your materials. To submit your materials, please click here.

No pre-registration is required for BalletMet’s open audition tour. You will fill out a registration form and pay your $30 registration fee on site. (Waived for AGMA members with proof of membership).

Please bring your resume and headshot/dance photo with you.

Women are preferred to be 5’7’’ or shorter and men at least 5’8’’ tall. Women should wear pointe shoes. Auditions will consist of a brief warm up, center work, repertoire and possibly partnering. Please arrive warmed up.
