Dance Academy Balance 1 Berlin – 3-year professional Contemporary Dance Diploma Program

Dance Academy Balance 1 Berlin is the oldest private Academy in Germany offering an officially approved and certified degree for the 3-year professional contemporary dance diploma program since 1996.
The extraordinarily versatile and creative program covers a wide range of dance styles ensuring a well-rounded foundation.

Daily classes include ballet, contemporary and modern dance. In addition there is many other classes such as jazz dance, improvisation, contact, partnering, floor work. Theory classes include applied anatomy, applied biochemistry, dance methodology, dance history, composition.
Students have plenty of possibilities to perform onstage and gain stage experience. The dancers work on a full-length performance with guest choreographers and will also present their own final graduation pieces in public by the end of the program.

The prestigious Academy is based in charming and familiar Villa Balance in Berlin, which has become a home for many international dance students from around the world since its foundation.

Beside the annual auditions taking place in Berlin, video auditions for the program are always accepted.
