Dance Athens & Ilias Bageorgos are Searching for Dancers for their New Production STRATA
Choreographer Ilias Bageorgos and the company of DANCE Athens are looking for the artists who will complete the team of their new production “STRATA”, supported by the Greek Ministry of Culture.
The audition targets at contemporary dancers, regardless of gender identity or expression, that are fluent with classical technique. International artists are encouraged to apply.
The audition will take place in Athens (30/9-4/10), after invitation.
Important production info:
Availability of the dancers is necessary during the period 1/12/2023 – 20/3/2024 for rehearsals and performances, based in Athens. Additionally, availability is needed during the summer season for the tour scheduling.

30/9-4/10 in three different stages:
•1st: 30 September
•2nd: 1 October
•3rd: workshop 2-3-4 October
All stages of the audition will happen during morning hours, and there will be a stipend for the dancers that will take part in all three stages.
How to Apply:
In order to apply for the audition you need to send a mail at [email protected] (with a deadline at 25/9 -12:00) titled “STRATA audition“, that will include:
– CV
– 2 photos (portrait and full body)
– an improvisation video with a duration up to 1’30” under the subject : “shaping and deconstructing the classical dance form” (YouTube or Vimeo link, without password)
