Audition: ‘VRIJE VAL’ & ‘KNOOPPUNT’
DansBlok is looking for freelance dancers fortwo different existing productions! For each production it is necessary that you are available ALL of the rehearsal and performance dates. You can apply for both or one of the productions.This a payed opportunity. We welcome all applications independent of nationality, ability, age, ethnic or social background and sexual orientation. Participation in the audition is by invitation only.
DansBlok is an all-female collective based in Leiden. Our work is a reaction to conflicts that the makers experience in our current society. It explores themes like dealing with paradoxal expectations, challenging boundaries and the need for true connection. DansBlok is known for their organic and theatrical movement language, strong expression and partnerwork.

Requirements:
Requirements production VRIJE VAL:
– contemporary dancer (m/f/x) professional or intern
– based in The Netherlands
– fast at learning new material in a short rehearsal period
– experienced in partnerwork
– expressive performer
Requirements production KNOOPPUNT:
– contemporary dancer (f/x) professional or intern
– based in The Netherlands
– an excellent understanding of Dutch language
– fast at learning new material in a short rehearsal period
– expressive performer
– identifying as female
