Director and Choreographer Jörg Weinöhl is Looking for an Experienced Male Dancer for the Opera “Orlando” by Georg Friedrich Händel

Director and Choreographer Jörg Weinöhl is looking for an experienced male dancer for the new Opera production “Orlando” by Georg Friedrich Händel at the Staatstheater in Darmstadt, Germany.

The dancer will embody an important role in this production by complimenting the singer of “Orlando” with his dance, movements and expressions.

You bring profound skills in both classical and modern technique and you are an experienced partner to support two female dancers in pas-de-deux. Preference will be given to dancers with good acting skills.

The rehearsal period starts on March 18 and lasts until the premiere on May 18 followed by five additional performances until June 26, 2019.

When: An audition will be held by private invitation on January 19, 2019

Where: Darmstadt, Germany.
