English National Ballet are Seeking Classically Training Dancers for The Nutcracker in the 2021/22 Season
English National Ballet brings world-class classical ballet to the widest possible audience – delighting them with the traditional and inspiring them with the new. We aspire to be the United Kingdom’s most exciting and creative ballet company.
We are looking for classically trained female dancers to join us for our production of Nutcracker during our 2021/22 season (Rehearsals and performances take place between 15 November 2021 – 8 January 2022).
We are looking for classically trained male dancers to join us for our production of Raymonda and Nutcracker during our 2021/22 season (Rehearsals and performances take place between 4 October 2021 – 23 January 2022).
Experience and requirements:
Dancers should have a strong classical technique and be able to perform a variety of repertoire.
You will need to be age 18 and over by the date of the audition and already have the right to work in the UK or have a valid UK work permit. Please note we will not be able to sponsor visas on this occasion.
Salary: £408 per week (Equity Agreement for Ballet and Dance)

Audition: The live audition will take place on the 1st June 2021 and will consist of a ballet class at our premises on London City Island, as well as a contemporary variation for those selected (this will be shared prior to the audition for you to learn in advance).
The online audition process will require you to submit one classical solo of your choice, as well as a contemporary variation of our choosing, which will be shared with you to learn and film prior to the submission date of the 23rd May.
