Felice Lesser Dance Theater Seeks Male & Female Ballet Dancers
Felice Lesser Dance Theater seeks male & female ballet dancers (with modern experience) of major company calibre for the World Premiere of LIGHTNING at The Duke on 42nd Street, the week of February 6-12, 2017.
LIGHTNING a dance & video work by Felice Lesser, to a score by Slovenian composer Borut Krzisnik, will deal with contemporary issues (inclusion, borders, global warming, terrorism, technology).
Rehearsals start mid-to-late December and run through the week of the performances, and dancers MUST be available for all rehearsals for which they are scheduled.
Diversity welcome and dancers of color highly encouraged to apply. Must be a U.S. citizen or have the appropriate VISA to work in this country, and MUST live in the NY Metro area.
