Formation For Future-WORKSHOP WITH CHARLIE SKUY

📍 Bari, April 5-6, 2025
ResExtensa and the National Center for Dance Production Porta d’Oriente, directed by Elisa Barucchieri, announce the continuation of the high professional training course, realized in the coming months in collaboration with the directors of Kor’sia – Antonio de Rosa, Mattia Russo and Giuseppe d’Agostino.
After the meetings in the past months with Matan David, dedicated to deepening the Gaga language, and Johnny McMillan, who shared Sharon Eyal’s repertoire, in March we welcomed Emilie Leriche, a very talented freelance performer and creator.
In April it will be the turn of Charlie Skuy, who will bring his choreographic language and experience to our higher education track.

And it doesn’t end there! In the following months, we will host other outstanding artists:
✨ May – Janet Novás
Galician dancer, teacher and choreographer, resident in Barcelona since 2020, Janet Novás has developed a personal language based on observation, experience and dialogue with the body. Her creations, characterized by aesthetic simplicity and intense expressiveness, have been presented in prestigious international festivals, including Rencontres Chorégraphiques, Festival de Marseille and Mercat de les Flors. Among the many awards she has received are RNE’s El Ojo Crítico award (2021) and the Catalan Critics’ Award as best dancer for Mercedes mais eu (2021).

✨ June – Hanna O’Neill
A New Zealand dancer born in Tokyo in 1993, Hanna O’Neill has been danseuse étoile of the Paris Opera Ballet since 2023. She won the Prix de Lausanne in 2009 and first prize in the Youth America Grand Prix in 2010, establishing herself as one of the most talented performers on the international scene.

✨ July/August – Diego Tortelli
Trained at the National Academy of Dance in Rome and Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, Diego Tortelli has danced for prestigious Italian and international companies. In 2017 he was elected best young choreographer by the Palcoscenico Danza festival. He is currently associate artist of Tanzbüro München and MilanOltre Festival, as well as resident choreographer of the National Dance Foundation/Aterballetto.
