FREI ART FESTIVAL 2023 – International dance festival
THE FREI ART FESTIVAL is back!
For the 4th Edition from September, 11th until 17th, we are bringing for you some of the most thriving dancers to Freiburg im Breisgau. One week full of workshops, intensives, performances and networking is waiting for you, from open to advanced level, from contemporary dance and modern through urban dance.
The FREI ART FESTIVAL presents the variety of the international dance scene.

In addition to the exciting workshop program, the festival offers thrilling performances featuring among others Joy Alpuerto Ritter, Lali Ayguadé, Theater Mainz, Javier Rodriguez.
One highlight of the festival is the Out:liers Dance Contest, which brings together dancers of all styles with an interdisciplinary approach. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their individual talents and creativity as well as compete with other dancers in front of the jury. The contest provides a platform for innovation and experimentation, demonstrating how dance transcends the boundaries of various art forms.
