Hiatus and Daniel Linehan are Looking for Dancers
The Brussels based American choreographer/performer Daniel Linehan is looking for additional dancers for his new piece which will premiere in June 2018 in Munich with 12 weeks of rehearsals between October 2017 and June 2018. The project is centred around issues of “privacy” vs. “transparency”, and will be a collaboration between Linehan and composer Stefan Prins, involving dancers and live musicians.
The candidates should be trained dancers with professional performance experience, a strong sense of precision and attention to details, skills in improvisation as well as creating set material, and comfortable with using voice and text in performance. The candidates should be available for the five audition days, the creation period, the performances and for touring in the next seasons.
The week will be treated as a week of research for his new creation, with time to experiment and test performance ideas with the group. A final selection of dancers will be made at the end of the week.
