Hofesh Shechter II is Auditioning for the Next Generation of Talented Dancers

Shechter II, our award-winning apprentice touring company, provides a 11 month unique paid training and performance programme for 18-25 year olds to develop their skills as professional dancers within a supportive environment.

Under the direction of renowned choreographer Hofesh Shechter and his artistic team you will gain individual insight into Hofesh’s distinctive choreographic style, advance your experience by working within an acclaimed national and international touring company, inspire young dancers worldwide and through our mentoring, feedback and training programme, enhance your own creativity as a dance artist.

ENGAGEMENT TERMS
Fixed Term employment – 11 months
January – December 2020
Contract start date: 27 January 2020

In addition to the training programme delivered by our artistic team and experts in the profession, you will be paid an apprentice salary equivalent to the national living wage for England, a relocation bursary and touring expenses (accommodation, travel and per diems). This position does not constitute a formal apprenticeship and the employment will finish at the end of the agreed fixed term

AUDITION DETAILS
You must be aged 18-25 when attending the audition.
Please note you must be eligible to live and work in the UK in order to participate in this programme as regrettably we cannot provide work permits for apprentices.

Dates:
UK Based Dancers: Friday 30 August
Internationally Based Dancers: Saturday 31 August
Recall: Sunday 1 September
Location: Trinity Laban, Creekside, London, SE8 3DZ

Dancers attending the audition must be available for their allocated audition slot and the recall day (if selected).
