International Market of Dancers – Bread&Dance Prague

Five leading contemporary dance & physical theatre companies based in Prague are inviting professional dancers to Bread&Dance Prague. The participants will go through three-hour introduction workshops with the choreographers of 420PEOPLE, BURKICOM, DEKKADANCERS and FARM IN THE CAVE.

They will personally experience an authentic collaboration with them, their artistic approach and movement language. In the final Après Ski session, there will be space for informal chats and direct feedback from the choreographers. Participating dancers may be selected to audition for a new project of FARM IN THE CAVE ensemble and open the possibility for future cooperation with the rest of the ensembles.

Intended only for professional dancers, graduates or students of dance schools. Due to limited capacity only pre-selected dancers will be invited to join the international market of dancers. Please, wait for the confirmation email.

13.5. (9:00-18:30) – 14.5. (9:00-17:30) – Workshops with choreographers of BURKICOM, 420PEOPLE, DEKKADANCERS and FARM IN THE CAVE
15.5. 9:00-11:00 – Après Ski
15.5. 10:00-13:00 – Audition with FARM IN THE CAVE (a bonus opportunity only for selected dancers)

Deadline for applications: 30th April 2023

Costs for participants:
160 EUR (Early Birds / payment before 20.4.2023 – 140 EUR). You will be prompted to pay the fee after you receive a confirmation email.

The fee includes 14 hours of training with the choreographers of 4 companies (13-14.5.), an informal feedback session with the choreographers (15.5.) and a discount to all the performances during Bread&Dance Prague (15-18.5.2023).
