James Sewell Ballet is Currently Seeking Male and Female Dancers for Full Contracts & Project Based Position

Audition notice! JSB is currently seeking male and female dancers, both for full contract and project-based positions. Audition is by invitation only.

James Sewell Ballet is a contemporary ballet company based in Minneapolis, MN. The company performs three full programs a year, in addition to other smaller performances and tour engagements. Dancers are expected to serve as teaching artists in town and during residency activities, and also have the opportunity to choreograph work for the annual New Works Project.

Please include an explanation that identifies you in the videos, if necessary. Both men and women should be skilled in classical ballet, and women need to be proficient en pointe. Applicants should be diversely-qualified, with experience in modern and contemporary dance, improvisation, and other forms.

Deadline for Application: February 28th, 2018

Applicants will be notified of decisions and next steps by March 5th. Audition locations and dates TBA.
