Join us for the JSR Company Repertory Choreography Lab Workshop and Functionality & Perspective, Winter Workshop 2024.

During this event, we will explore the principles of JSR’s 2018 work, “Portrait of an Anti-Hero,” an structured solo improvisation. Participants will work together to deconstruct and reinterpret the piece as both a collective and individual performers.

The focus of the workshop is on collaborative learning, as we provide feedback to one another in order to grow as artists. We will delve into the unique universe of the choreographer’s creative process and ultimately showcase our resulting performances.

Participants can choose to attend the full workshop, including both the Functionality & Perspective and Repertory sessions.

*Scholarships for all minorities are available. To apply, please submit a CV, a letter of interest along with a 3-minute improvisation video by January 20, 2023.
