KICDC 2026 – Contemporary Dance Competition with Scholarships & Company Invitations
KICDC is more than a competition — it’s a platform connecting dancers to real opportunities.
Participants are evaluated through a video screening and can join either online or on-site in Korea.
Selected dancers may receive:
– Scholarships from international institutions
– Invitations from professional dance companies
– Audition and training opportunities
Start with your video and take the next step in your dance career.
– Preliminary application fee: USD 30
– Main round fee: USD 150 (for selected participants)
– Participants may join either online or on-site after screening
– Both online and offline participants are eligible for scholarships and opportunities
– Accommodation support may be provided for selected dancers (on-site participants)
Requirements:
– Open to dancers with a background in contemporary dance
– Age: 12 – 34 (as September 28, 2026)
– Submission materials:
*1 contemporary solo video (max. 4 minutes)
*2 photos (headshot & full body)
*Copy of ID (passport or equivalent)
Where:
Online (video-based participation)
On-site in Korea (for selected participants)
When:
Main Rounds: September 28 – 30, 2026
World Gala: October 1, 2026
