Klaipėda State Music Theatre is Looking for a Ballet Master and Modern / Contemporary Dance Instructor and Rehearsal Director
Klaipėda State Music Theatre (KSMT) is looking for an experienced ballet master and modern / contemporary dance instructor and rehearsal director, with a permanent contract starting immediately.
We offer a job in Lithuania’s only seaport city, in a newly built theatre within a walking distance to the idyllic Baltic seaside, with a dance company that is rather small and very young, but hugely dynamic and ambitious. The KSMT Ballet Company has recently staged critically acclaimed dance performances by the internationally sought-after choreographers, such as Edward Clug, Alexander Ekman, Robert Bondara, Martynas Rimeikis, and Gaj Žmavc.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experiences:
• Appropriate dance/teaching qualifications
• Experience in dancing/teaching in a variety of styles, including ballet and modern/contemporary dance
• Experience in choreography in productions
• Ability to establish successful relationships with dancers and staff
Knowledge of English is required.
