L.A. Contemporary Dance Company 2018 / 2019 Season Audition

Please bring a headshot or photo and a resume with your training and performance experience. Be prepared to dance barefoot and bring kneepads for floorwork if necessary.

LACDC is looking to fill Guest Artist roles for an immersive project in 2019. We seek technically strong dancers who are versatile, open-minded and interested in working with a variety of choreographers in a highly collaborative process to create new work in contemporary dance and dance theatre. Dancers must have previous experience with improvisation and partnering, and extensive training in modern, ballet, and/or jazz.

* In order to be considered for work with the company throughout the season, you must attend one of our annual auditions.

**After the callback, dancers considered for work with the company may be offered Guest Artist positions. A Company Position is potentially offered after a dancer has first been in process with the company as a Guest Artist.

***A typical contract with the company to develop a new production usually lasts 6 – 8 weeks with paid rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals take place at our rehearsal space – the Brockus Project Studios – located in downtown L.A.
