MANIFEST Dance Company is looking for two strong professional dancers (m / f) for a short-term project – to perform three times a 12 minutes duet, extract from the piece Fragment #1 by Svetlin Velchev, during the next edition of Winterwolven V by Roodkapje at the Arminius Rotterdam on 19th November 2016.
The rehearsal period is in the week before Winterwolven V, from 12th to 18th November prior to the Festival’s performances, which are on 19th. The availability during this period is obligatory!
About the work:
Fragment #1 is part of the trilogy Fragments, various projects based on gravity movement explorations, created by Svetlin Velchev in 2013.
Fragments are a result of a long-term artistic research, inspired by Einstein’s Theory of Relativity or current description of gravitation in modern physics.
The idea shares the urge to rediscover and reveal the true nature of our planet and express that in art exhibit goal with choreography.

Audition Location and Date:
The audition will take place in CIRCLE Dance Rotterdam on Tuesday 8th November from 11:00h to 16:00h, including a contemporary dance class and two cycles of working on the repertory.
It is advisory only performers with sufficient experience in Floor work and Partnering to apply, as the material is highly technical and physically demanding. Experience in acrobatics, yoga or any type of martial arts (capoeira, tai-chi etc.) is essential and beneficial.
Travel costs not covered! The fee is 300 euro.
