MDR is an internationally recognized contemporary dance company based in Connecticut, USA. Known for immersive, boundary-pushing work, the company presents a full production season of 30+ performances at Mystic Dark Room, a leading performance venue in New England.
MDR is seeking female and male dance artists for company positions.
Applicants should demonstrate:
– Strong stage presence and artistic individuality
– High-level contemporary dance technique
– Versatility within an immersive and collaborative creative process
– Professional performance experience (preferred)
Engagement
Selected dancers will be offered company contracts and will participate in a structured performance season within a rigorous, professional environment. The position includes consistent performance opportunities, ongoing artistic development, and integration into an international ensemble.
Assistance with local housing may be available.

Requirements:
Applicants should demonstrate:
– Proficiency in improvisation
– Strong acting ability and sense of theatricality
– Experience with acrobatic elements (considered an asset)
