MIP® is an innovative three-week summer intensive in New York City for advanced dancers, 18-23 years old. Dancers will work with an extraordinary faculty of teachers, choreographers, and mentors in a Project that encourages risk-taking, creativity, and the development of improvisational skills. In this supportive environment, dancers will be prepared to work in collaboration with today’s choreographers. The program includes ballet, improvisational workshops, and the exploration of the creative process. MIP® is an expansion of New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble’s (NJDTE) Educational Programming.
MIP® 2017 PROGRAM DATES:
July 2 – July 21, NYC
Week 1: July 2 – July 7* at BAC
Week 2: July 10 – July 14 at BAC
Week 3: July 17 – July 21 at NYLA
10:00am – 6:00pm
*Sunday-Friday, off July 4
Dancers must attend all 3 weeks
